Enrollment Growth Continues at CIU

Online studies for working adults are up 38 percent at CIU.

On-campus and online student enrollment continues to grow at Columbia International University.

The 2018 Spring semester brought nine percent overall enrollment growth compared to Spring 2017 for a total of 1,085 undergraduate, graduate and seminary students now attending CIU.

Meanwhile, the number of students taking advantage of CIU’s online studies option grew at a phenomenal rate of 38 percent from Spring 2017 to Spring 2018 with 401 students now studying online.

CIU Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing, Silvia Lucaschi-Decker attributes the enrollment increase to targeted marketing and advertising, new online business programs (A.A., B.S., M.B.A.), and graduate programs available entirely online. She also credits a team of highly-trained and friendly admissions counselors and online recruiters. CIU’s increasing selection of academic programs is another factor.

CIU has announced $25 million in expansion plans for the campus, including construction of the $20 million William H. Jones Global Business and IT Center. Information on CIU programs and enrollment is available here or call (800) 777-2227, ext. 5024. CIU is accredited by SACS-COC.
