CIU Counseling Professor Named Professional Woman of the Year

Professor Cathy Warn

The National Association of Professional Women named Columbia International University Counseling professor Cathy Warn a VIP Woman of the Year. 

Warn is the director of training and internship in the CIU College of Counseling.  Her primary responsibilities focus on planning and directing program orientation and training for students as it relates to professional skills, identity and ethics.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. 

In addition to teaching at CIU, Warn is in private practice.  She has experience in grief and loss, parenting, adolescent and young adult issues, aging issues, relationship concerns, growth and spiritual development, divorce recovery, pre-marital, marital and family therapy, and clinical supervision. Warn is a clinical member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. She also holds membership in two National College Scholarship Honor Societies, Alpha Chi and Psi Chi.
